Sensory Friendly Scar Oil
This handmade scar care product is 100% natural, vegan, and organic, ideal for all scar types and grafts. Designed to fade and soften scars, our scar oil also lubricates the area for effective scar massage, which is crucial, especially for post-op scars.
Featuring a 30mL roller-ball glass bottle for effortless application, one bottle typically lasts 4 to 7 months with daily use. It is also TSA friendly (within size limit) and easy to travel with.

How is this oil sensory friendly?

Usage Instructions:
1. Shake the bottle well before each use!
Natural products sometimes separate or settle, shaking is important.
2. To apply oil, tilt the bottle while rolling the ball along your scar.
3. Massage oil into scar with finger tips, or a massage tool for 10-20 minutes daily using small circular motions and a medium amount of pressure.
Scar massage tool:
Great to help break down scar tissue, inflamed tissue under the skin and along the scar lines. Scar massage also helps prevent the scar from anchoring to your body. Scar massage can begin as soon as your surgeon clears you for scar care. It is recommended that you massage daily, for anywhere from a couple months to 6+ months, depending on how your body scars.
Silicone scar strips (also known as scar tape):
Wear daily for 4 to 15 hours on average. You may take them off at the end of the day and massage in the Scar Salve. Wash the strips and set them out to dry for tomorrow. They can be washed and resused many times.
NOTE: For most, the Scar Oil & scar strips will all last the entirety of post-op scar care (6+ months.) In most cases this is a one-time buy.

WINTER WEATHER:
If your Scar Oil arrives frozen, or even slightly foggy:
Microwave/heat up a bowl with just water in it. Be sure the water line is only as high as the glass part of the bottle.
Set the water bowl aside and set the bottle in the warm water for about 10 minutes.
When the Scar Oil is clear/completely see-through, it's ready.
Shake very well after melted. Always shake well before each use.
